An Ode to Mother Nature is a collection of cast glass flowers embedded in mountainous forms. Influenced by the symbolism of Old Europe, where they believed in an earth goddess, I have used the flower as a symbol of femininity and divinity.

These cast glass and brass flowers growing out of imperfect and organic polystyrene forms, are a comment on modernism, where the control of nature is seen as progress.
